Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCES (FRAN) MILDRED MOYNAGH (nee JENKINS) It is with sadness and loving memories that the family announces the death of Fran Moynagh on October 7, 2014. Fran was born in Belmont, Manitoba on September 25, 1925, a town she always remembered with fondness and to which she returned many times over the course of her life. She also spent several happy years living and working in Souris, Manitoba, where she formed many close friendships that she maintained over the years. Fran later moved to Winnipeg where she met and married Stan Moynagh and raised their daughter Maureen, to whom she was devoted. In Winnipeg Fran also formed new communities of friends among her co-workers, her neighbours, and her fellow parishioners at St. Michael and All Angels Church. Many people were touched by Fran's warmth and sense of humour. Her life was defined by it as much as by her love of family and her concern for others. Predeceased by her brother Howard, sisters-in-law Hilda and Joanne, and nephew Dennis, Fran is survived by her beloved husband Stan, daughter Maureen (Rod), brother Ralph, nieces Fran (Trevor) and Cindy (Darren), nephews Jim and Jeff, her grand-niece Brenlee, grand-nephews Joel and Riley, cousins across Canada and by relatives in England and Ireland. A memorial service celebrating her life will take place today, Saturday, November 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fran's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or to any other charity of your choice. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU & CO. Our sincere sympathy to Stan, Maureen, Rod and the Jenkins family. Fran was a wonderful life long friend of our family. She was Ila's bridesmaid and "sister" and is lovingly remembered. Fran and Stan always opened their homes to our family and we loved their visits to Souris. We will miss her dearly. - Posted by: Ila and Andy Lang and Family (Friends) on: Nov 09, 2014
