Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTOPHER DUANE LAHAIE December 23, 1957 - November 3, 2014 With family by his side, Christopher Duane LaHaie passed away after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth (Betty Anne) LaHaie, his brother Randy and sister Sherri McCurdy (Dave), his niece Jennifer Petrie (Keith), four nephews Matt, Brad and Jeremy LaHaie, Nathan McCurdy, and great-nephew Reid Petrie. Chris led a very sheltered life and spent most of his time at home. He enjoyed his special pets Samee (dog) and Frisky (cat). He loved spending time with kids and animals, they were all very important to him. Chris was predeceased by his father Duane Lahaie in 1999, his grandparents, and many other aunts and uncles. Funeral service will be held at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at a later date. A special thank you to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital and Concordia Hospital. Chris is now finally at Peace. I am very sorry to hear of Chris's passing I just learned of it January 3. I would go over on occasion with my little pet Zoey and visit with Chris and his mom. I knew Chris since we were babies. It was always nice to talk with him when he would go by the house with his little Samee.
