Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCYNTHIA KATHLEEN JEAN COCKELL Peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, Cynthia died at Grace Hospital, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 89 years. Left to forever cherish Cynthia's memory are her three sons, John (Jean), Gordon (Michelle), and Dean (Pat); grandchildren Julian, Juno, Sean, Andrew, Matthew, Derek, and Deanne; as well as by numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands John Horace Cockell and Peter Fox. Cynthia was a loving wife and mother, with a love for gardening and crafts. In compliance with Cynthia's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A small private family gathering will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Extendicare Tuxedo Villa Personal Care home for their many years of care and support. Donations may be made in Cynthia's name to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. I met Mrs. Cockell many years ago. This beautiful lady impressed me with her class, style, kindness and total devotion to her family. She was a lovely person inside and out. My sympathy and condolences to Mrs. Cockell's family. May the memories of your mother and grandmother bring you comfort.
