Isobel passed away on November 5, 2014 at Riverview Hospital after a long illness. Predeceased by her loving husband, Ralph, and parents Edwin and Ethel Hoddinott; also her brothers Alfred and Edwin, and her sister, Ruth Potter. Lovingly survived by nephews Ed (Lynne), Ken (Leslie) and nieces Donna, Alida (Dwaine), Valerie (Tom), and Pat (Jack), and numerous grand-nieces and nephews. Isobel was dearly loved and had many friends. We are very grateful to Isobel's friends, Pattie Page, Evelyn Diawol and Lorraine Roth, who were with her during her last months of illness. Thank you so much. Through the years Isobel supported her church and many charitable organizations. Even with many serious health issues, she really enjoyed travelling and visiting family in Saskatoon and Winfield, BC. We, her nieces and nephews would like to thank all the staff at Riverview Hospital for the wonderful care she received. At Isobel's request there will be no funeral. We will always love and miss you, Auntie. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

My Isobel, to live next door to you as an infant and child impacted my life with love, caring and good treats. You were always kind and caring, to me and my brother. I loved our church behind us. I have gone to call you but then stop, I remember what you said so I am strong, I loved how you enjoyed every flower I sent. I know you see beautiful blossoms everywhere. My carved Spaniel sits at my bedside and our photos on the wall. Cooking your favorite meal was my pleasure. To your family, I loved the art, the books your heritage and I am sorry for your loss. She wanted me to meet you in the North West. To have Isobel enter my life after her relocating was an everlasting experience of joy and to see and hear her voice. Please be well and know she had someone who loved her very much, and misses her, though she taught me not to, I love her even more. - Posted by: Cheryl Harrower (Neighbor and friend) on: Jan 19, 2015
