Dan was a great confidante, someone who always had time for me personally and professionally. When we served in the forces together we spent many a lunch hour together discussing everything and agreeing on little, which always drew laughter from us and those around us. Even after we both moved on to other careers we maintained our close friendship. Dan was a part of many lives and many memories. He was loved deeply and will missed dearly. - Posted by: keith ellwood (friend / co-worker / fellow debater) on: Nov 15, 2014

Dan was a previous supervisor of mine that instantly made my work day better. I only had one short year working with him but he made a lasting impact that I will never forget. I remember one night I was in a mood to be cheeky. So I decided to send my boss Dan a text saying "hey boss...I'm bored. What should I do?" (obviously because since he was my boss he should have all the answers ;). Well Dan replied "hey buddy...why not go for a run?" Lol. Good memory. I wish I knew Dan longer. He put trust and faith in my abilities. Take care wherever you are Dan. You made a difference. And yes...I'm still bangin' that Israeli chick. Cheers sir. - Posted by: Justin Mokelkie (past co-worker) on: Nov 13, 2014

Dan was an absolute professional, and a good friend. He was a perfect fit both personally and professionally for our department. He will be sadly missed by all of our team. You could always rely on Dan for thoughtful opinion and input, and always a hearty laugh. Our thoughts, prayers, and support go out to all who mourn his passing. - Posted by: Brent Early (Colleague) on: Nov 13, 2014

We only had brief and professional interactions with Dan. His professionalism and positive attitude was always appreciated. We continue to pray for the family and friends that Dan was able to influence and care for. We often pray for our clients and the blessings they are in our lives, and we are sincerely thankful for Dan's life and time with us and MHA. Our hearts are now with those who are left without Dan to sort out the days ahead... May mercy and hope be the seeds planted in your sorrow and the love and memories you hold be the life to those seeds. Blessings... - Posted by: Jason & Charlene Ryan (Friends & Supplier) on: Nov 13, 2014

Danny since I moved away to B.C from Winnipeg all those years ago I have thought of you a lot. We were not in touch very much but our parents I know kept us informed of what each other was up to. I have such good memories of when we were young. You were my cousin, my family and will always remain in my heart. RIP Dan Until we meet again. - Posted by: Linda Martens (cousin) on: Nov 12, 2014

Dan was a good friend, I will miss our colourful debates over a coffee and his infectious humour, laughter, and smile. I ask why and wish I could have helped. He has left behind so many who cared and are now trying to understand. Dan you will be missed! - Posted by: Kevin Chapdelaine (Friend) on: Nov 12, 2014

My deepest sympathy to Dan's Family. During the past 10 months Dan & I worked closely together. Dan was a great addition to our department and an excellent and professional resource on matters pertaining to Fire Safety. He was always willing to help out in any way he could. We will miss him a lot. - Posted by: Don Giesbrecht (Co-worker) on: Nov 12, 2014

Dan was a great worker and supervisor when he was employed @ Pyrene Fire Security Man. I took the time to explain and walk through some of the practical on the job site with him. We had met for coffee, lunch, his best lunch with me was @ Deans Carribbean Restaurant. I ordered him a roti his reply don that tastes good. I respect Dan both on and off the job. And now I paid him my respect but in a different way. May the lord turn the lights on so he will have brightness on his travel. And open the doors and let him in, and may his soul rest in peace. And to the ones left behind may the lord comfort you and guide you through this time. My sympathy goes out to all of his loved ones. - Posted by: Denzil Lewis (worker and his best friend @ pyrene Fire Security Man .) on: Nov 12, 2014
