ERWIN ERICH WESNER July 12, 1934 - November 7, 2014 Erwin Wesner passed away peacefully at his home on November 7, 2014 at the age of 80. Erwin was born in Wampum, MB on July 12, 1934 and grew up on the family farm in Sprague, MB. After leaving school he worked in various capacities and in 1974, upon the death of his father, he took over the running of his family's farm. Erwin was a kind and gentle man and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Erwin was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Margaret Wesner, his brother-in-law Erling Olimb and his sister-in-law Norma Graham. He will be sadly missed by his wife Bobbie, his son and daughter-in-law Lance and Penny Alcock and by his grandchildren who were so special to him, Mervin, Warren, Dorissa and Bobbie. He is also survived by his brother Bob Wesner, and his sisters, Gertrude (Don) Olson, Lilly (Vern) Madson and Ruth (Craig) Lee A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sprague Community Hall, Sprague, MB . Interment will take place at the Sprague Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, P.O. Box 2598 Stn. Main Winnipeg, MB R3C 4B3 will be greatly appreciated. Vita Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
