Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVINCENT MAROZAS Peacefully on November 9, 2014, Vincent passed away at Holy Family Nursing Home at the age of 91 years. He will be lovingly remembered by one daughter, Irene Dahl and her husband Al of Chilliwack, BC; one son Albert and his wife Joyce of Winnipeg, and grandchildren John, Jennifer, Jenna and Kara. Vincent was predeceased by Monica, his wife of 36 years, and also by his dear friend Irene. Vincent was born in Tauregus, Lithuania on June 15, 1923. He immigrated to Winnipeg with Monica in 1952 to start a new life. Vincent was always a very generous person with a kind heart. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and dancing for many years. He also enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15th at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment to follow. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Holy Family Nursing Home and Riverside Lions Senior Residences for their loving care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vincent's name may be made to the above personal care facilities. It seemed that Vincent was quiet respected by everyone. I have a letter from Taurage Lithuania sent too my Grandmother in 1962 the names on the letter are Lulei Marozaitier and Julija Marozzatite.Maybe Vince knew of then weather of family Orr of friends and neighbors. - Posted by: Michael Edward Marozas (not sure if weddings are related) on: Oct 31, 2015

Dear Irene and Family, I am surprised to hear about the passing of your dear father so soon after we had visited him in September, 2014 from travelling from Vancouver to Winnipeg. I really enjoyed his company and he was truly a gentleman. And he was as I can see, a very handsome man in his youth. Dear Irene and family, I am so glad to have met your father when I went with you from Vancouver to Winnipeg in September,2014. We had good visits with him at the Home and I could see he was truly a gentleman. And I can certainly see how handsome he was in his youth. May he rest in peace.
