CAROL ANNE STRONG (nee BROWN) October 6, 1940 - November 7, 2014 (aged 74) Fun, generous and always talking (except when she was singing) Carol's uplifting energy will be missed. Born to Harold and Geneva Brown and brother to Dennis, she had two sons, Russell and Trevor, with her husband Doug and was the perfect grandmother (and "Googly Monster") to Owen and Charlotte. Perpetually in motion, Carol volunteered, sang in choirs, romped through nature, and enjoyed teaching and sharing her knowledge. She loved theatre and had fond memories of her time in the Kanata Theatre Guild. In 2013 Carol was diagnosed with multiple myeloma and amyloid angiopathy but continued to be her upbeat self until the end. She leaves Doug, Dennis, Russell, Trevor, Aunt Joanne Wert, Uncle Kevin Brown, cousins Barbara Coleman and Ron Brown, and her nephews Bill and Keith.
