MARGARET MAY LEWIS On Wednesday, November 12, 2014 after a brief battle with cancer Marg passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital. She leaves behind two children, Randy (Dallas), Rhonda (John), four grandchildren, Cortlan, Keelan, Avery (Andy), Jade (Tyson), great-grandchild Leo; brother Eddie, nieces Heather and Megan, and nephews David and Harley. Marg worked at St. Boniface as an RN before joining Sears as the store nurse eventually retiring from Sears working in Human Resources. Marg travelled the world and made many life-long friendships along the way. She enjoyed golfing in her retirement, scoring a hole-in-one in her 12th game, and was passionate about the many cats she cared for over the years. Marg was a classy lady, maintaining her dignity until the very end. She was incredibly lucky to have a group of devoted friends who we know share this loss with us. Many thanks to the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital Units 4 and 5 for the care and compassion provided to our mom. A celebration of Marg's life will take place at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 17, at Friends Funeral Service (2146 Main Street, Winnipeg). In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or a Charity of one's choice. Condolences can be left at www.friendsfs.ca.
