CARSON BILCOWSKI Surrounded by those he loved, Carson Bilcowski stepped from this life and into eternity on the evening of November 23, 2014, at the age of 59 years. A devoted husband, dedicated father, loving brother and loyal friend, Carson will be deeply missed by his wife Kim (nee Kirton), two daughters Nichole (Brad) Forbes and Beth (Brad) Pachkowski and four grandchildren, Gavin, Meghan, Zane and Zariah as well as his large extended family and many friends. The strong friendships Carson made through church, the intentional way he spoke with those he encountered and the dedicated manner in which he loved those in his world are just part of the rich legacy he leaves behind. For Carson, life was about who, not what, filled his world. He invested his time and energy in people; getting to know them, making them laugh and encouraging them. His family extended far beyond blood relations to include a wide circle of heart family', as well. Carson's family would like to thank all of the medical staff who walked this journey with Carson and in particular Dr. Szwajcer, Sherese, Kevin and the whole D6 team at Health Sciences Centre. A celebration of Carson's life will be held on Thursday, November 27 at 2:00 p.m., at Springs Church, 725 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg. Viewing will begin at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to CancerCare Manitoba or Springs Innercity. • We will tremendously miss Carson's contagious smile, the twinkle in his eye, his infectious joy, and his love for life. I am sure Carson has St. Peter smiling, already. Too bad that his cheery, "Good afternoon." in the early morning will lose it's humour since there is no night nor day in heaven. :-) Kim, Nichole, and Beth, and family, our hearts go out to you at this time of loss. Our deepest condolences. The legacy of faith which he planted in his family will live on for generations, and the legacy of his joy will live on in the hearts of his friends. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Karel & Becky Nemetchek (Friends) on: Nov 26, 2014
