ELSIE MARTIN November 27, 1939 November 22, 2014 Peacefully with her family by her side, Elsie passed away November 22, 2014. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Kim (Dan), granddaughters Ashley, Katelynn (Tristan), great grandson Kaen; Barb (Horacio), grandsons Michael and Daniel. Lovingly remembered by her brother Edward, brother-in-law Eugene, Alvin (Carol) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mom was born in Vita, Manitoba on November 27, 1939. Mom moved to Winnipeg in the early 1950's where she met Wes. They married on June 25, 1960 and were together until dad's passing on June 14, 2013. They both retired to the Lac du Bonnet area where they made many great memories. Celebration of Elsie's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society or to a charity of your choice.   • I met Elsie and Wes when I first came to Lac du Bonnet. They were amazing generous people who gave their friendship, their time and help to anyone who was in need. Linda and I will miss seeing you Elsie for your weekly hairdos our chats with you over a cup of coffee and hearing all about your family and little Kaen and how much he's grown. We will also miss your baking and those wonderful chocolate dipped cherries you made at Christmas. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.
