Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAY RICHARD WHEELWRIGHT It is with sincere regret we announce the passing of Jay Richard Wheelwright on November 22, 2014, surrounded by his loving family at Health Sciences Centre. Jay was born on September 3, 1947 in Salt Lake City, UT, he came to live in Winnipeg when he was 19, where he met and married Pat Feakes. Pat and Jay had seven children: Canda, Shannon (Michael), Kerry (Darren), Jessie (Danny), Benjamin, Jeffery, and grandchildren: Emily, Morgan, Connor, Josh, David, Orrie, Christian, Ryley and Kaylee. Jay was predeceased by son Matthew, parents Frank and Delilah, and brother Wesley. Jay left behind sisters Peggy, Janice and Jeanie, many brothers and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. It was Jay's life long dream to teach and he received his Master's degree in Education at the age of 35. Funeral Services to be held at 700 London St. on Thursday, November 27 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Glen Eden. Memorial donations in memory of Jay can be made to the Diabetes Association of Manitoba.
