PETER HENRY (PETE) GONCZY Peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Pete Gonczy passed away at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his loving wife Rosemarie "Toots"; his daughters, Leona and Eileen; grandchildren, Christian and Carly; brother Gus; brother-in-law Paul; sisters-in-law Bridget and Lily, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.   • I'll never forget Uncle Peter. He was love by all who knew him. His spontaneous humour, his kindness, and generosity, are only a couple of his traits.   • I remember the story of Pete walking home from the Legion one night, thinking Toots took the car home. Toots took the bus. So the car was left at the Legion.
