DONALD JOHN CORDEN In Memory On November 25, 2014 we bade farewell to my dad, Donald John Corden, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. We will be celebrating his life on Thursday, December 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home in Transcona. Please come join us in sharing memories of a great man and dear friend. It is a memorial luncheon not a service, it's his wish. Funeral Arrangements in Care of Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery & Crematorium 1800 Day Street 204-224-1525

Condolences & Memories (11 entries)

  • Don was a great friend, learnt a lot from him about cars or anything that need edto be fixed and life in general. I spent many hours in the garage with him, I knew Don since I was a kid. Don you will be missed truly and will be in my heart. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Ernie Stacey (FRIEND) on: Dec 04, 2014

  • Donnie was an intelligent, caring and friendly man. His great sense of humour brought many laughs to those who knew him. I had the privilege of working with Don at Rothsay for many years. When the plant went down we could always count on Donnie's superb mechanical expertise and his practical methods of repair to get us back up and running in a flash. Don always had a joke to tell. If you wanted to learn something, he would take the time to teach you. Donnie rarely needed to look at instructions or a book to figure stuff out. He just looked at it and knew what to do. The world is less without your smarts. May you rest in peace my friend. May your family and friends find peace and comfort in knowing how many lives you positively impacted. - Posted by: Pamela Yule (Friend and coworker ) on: Dec 04, 2014

  • I'll never forget Donny. He was a great man, a good friend and a devoted employee. I had the privilege of working with him at Rothsay and having him be my guide to learning the industry. Back in the day when the plant went down and we needed parts. Donny would find the part to get us running. I never did find his secret "glove box". You will never be forgotten. - Posted by: Ed Bonne (Friend and co worker) on: Nov 29, 2014
