• For those that knew Jean they quickly learned despite his “tough guy” exterior he was a big marshmallow. He had a heart bigger than anyone I have ever known. Even during his journey with cancer he was always more concerned about those he loved and may possibly one day leave behind than himself. Jean took on all tasks in life with a high level of commitment. While raising his three kids on his own he accomplished many impressive goals in his personal and professional life. Despite this Jean was a humble person and at times had to be reminded of all the amazing things he had done in his short time here on earth. My life has forever been changed for the better for having had Jean be a part of it. For that I thank him. To Shantel, Jon, Jeremy and Rachel, know that your Dad/Grandpa loved you all so very much! • I knew Jean for almost ten years, he was a very close family friend. I will be forver grateful for the generousity that he showed me and my children. • Although I didn't know him very personally, I was good friends with his daughter growing up. We spent many days over at his house for sleepovers and many fun times. He was always a very nice man and did a lot for his family.
