Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWANDA KRYWIEL (NAJBAROWSKI) 1945 - 2014 In Loving Memory It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wanda Krywiel. After a long, courageous battle with Lupus, Wanda peacefully passed away with her sister Emmie at her side at Grace Hospital on September 16, 2014. Wanda will be lovingly remembered by her husband Feliks, of 37 years, daughter Tracey (Keith), granddaughter Jessica of B.C., son Cory of Winnipeg, sister Maria (Roman) of Winnipeg, sister Emmie (Bogdan) of Winnipeg, nephews Timothy and Paul of Halifax, and other dear relatives and friends. Wanda was born in Poland and came to Canada with her mother and two sisters in 1961. She first worked as a hairdresser and later had a long career at Standard Aero, where she worked with her husband. After retiring she started her own cleaning business. Before her illness, Wanda enjoyed curling and bowling with her co-workers. She was a great cook and a great gardener. Wanda also had a love for nature. She and her husband and their two dogs spent much time at their cottage at Seven Sisters. Her favourite activity there was going for long walks with her dogs and mushroom picking. Wanda also had a deep love for the Lord and a passion for God's Word. She was a member of Grant Memorial Baptist Church and participated in numerous church activities. She particularly enjoyed her Bible Study classes as well as her arts and crafts group. Wanda had a huge heart and will be remembered for her smile and cheerful laugh. A private memorial service for Wanda was held at Grant Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday, September 20 at 6:00 p.m. We love you dearly Wanda

I never had the honour to know Wanda or to know Feliks for that matter but tonight while at work taking calls I received a phone call from Feliks that changed my perspective on everything. He told me stories about his amazing wife and their life together. It was an amazing experience for me to get to listen to what a wonderful and beautiful woman Wanda was and how lucky I am to answer this call to tonight and get the chance to glimpse into her life. You were right Feliks, Wanda's smile truly is beautiful and I'm sure as you go about your life she is smiling watching over you with the knowledge that she will see you again. You are in my prayers. God bless you and your family. - Posted by: Stacy () on: Apr 09, 2015

I first met Wanda and Feliks as co-workers at standard aero. This aquaintance soon turned into a close friendship. Wanda had an impecable work ethic and a care and concern for all. Her cheerfull nature brightened up many a co-worker's day. Wanda had many talents and interests, and showed a genuine interest in other people's lives as well. During my many visits, Wanda and Feliks always treated me like family. I always felt welcome in their home by their warm, kind, and generous nature. Wanda, I will miss your friendship, I will treasure your memory. My wife Laurie and I wish to send our heartfelt condolences and love to Feliks and family. - Posted by: John Petznik (Friend) on: Dec 13, 2014
