They built their cottage and spent many years with their family and friends enjoying cottage life summer and winter. Ivy travelled to Hawaii, China Ireland and spent many winters in her Arizona home where she made everyone feel welcome. Ivy's love of music was a great comfort to her and her lovely voice will be remembered by all. She made everyone she came in contact with feel special. Mom's family was her pride and joy. Ivy will always be remembered with much love, admiration and respect. We would like to thank the staff of Middlechurch Home for the excellent care during Ivy's residence there. Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Gerry - Wayne - Jimmy & Russ - I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. What a wonderful wonderful woman she was. Our Aunty Ivy!!! So many fond memories of your mom from both Garfield Street and especially the cottage. Sitting watching her play cards with Uncle Russ, Granny and my mom and dad laughing and telling stories. All the fun activities fishing - boating - all those great years. Your mom was one beautiful lady inside and out. She will never ever be forgotten. - Posted by: Paulette (Guertin) Richardson (Garfield Street and Big Whiteshell Neighbour) on: Jan 22, 2015

  • Dear Passey family, Sincere condolences on the loss of Auntie Ivy. She is fondly remembered as a free spirit and total hoot to be around. Shawn Telford and family - Posted by: Shawn Telford () on: Dec 01, 2014

  • Ivy was my mom's neighbor at Middlechurch home for many years. Whether Ivy was in the hall, tv or lunch room she'd always strike up a conversation with us. With a shared bathroom, many times she would open that door and say could you be a dear and help me please. Every time Ivy went by in the hall she would always stop at our door to chat, ask us how we and my mom were doing. Ivy could never remember my name. Yet she always remembered my husbands name. She would always say Jim your looking real good today with a big smile on her face! I got a kick out of that. She always had a big smile on her face and laughed a lot. Ivy was a kind sweat lady and had a lot of spunk in her! Our Condolences to all of her family. May you rest in peace Ivy till we meet again someday! xoxoxo - Posted by: Deborah & Jim (( Neighbours in Middlechurch home. )) on: Nov 30, 2014
