Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY REIMER (nee MARIA KLIPPENSTEIN) April 18, 1925 - November 29, 2014 On Saturday, November 29, 2014, at St. Boniface Hospital, Mary Reimer passed away at age 89. Predeceased by husband Jacob W. Reimer; and two grandchildren Amber and Jake. Mary is survived by seven children Ruth Robinson (John), William Reimer (Caty), Bernice McDonald (Dan), Dorothy Pitt (Bob), Edwin Reimer (Thora), Elizabeth Litster (Barry), and Donald Reimer (Candice); 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mary had a strong Christian faith and was known for her kindness, her hats and playing her harmonicas. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Home Street Mennonite Church, 318 Home Street, Winnipeg, (handicap accessible) with Pastor Terry Zimmerly officiating. Lunch after the service followed by interment at Mennonite Memorial Gardens. Viewing on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg and prior to the funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to Bethania Mennonite Memorial Foundation - Spiritual Care Program, 1045 Concordia Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R2K 3S7.
