Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET BRIDGET JABLONSKI October 8, 1957 - November 30, 2014 On Sunday, November 30, 2014, Margaret Bridget Jablonski departed this world and joined the angels of heaven to be with God. Margaret was born October 8, 1957, in Snow Lake, Manitoba, the daughter of Alexandra Parij and the late Janusz Jablonski. Left to celebrate her life are daughter Harmony; son Daniel; furry "grandpup" Titus and "the cats". As well, are her brother Andrew (Susan); sisters: Joanna (Kelly), Sonia, Mary (Mike); nephews and nieces: Michael, Steven, Krizsia, Lisa, Karina, Matthew; grandnephews: Ethan and Declan, and grandniece Aria. Margaret attended St. Gerard School and Elmwood High School before attending the University of Manitoba, graduating with a degree in social work on the Dean's Honour List. Yet it was her family, her faith, and helping all of God's creatures that were Margaret's passions in life. She chose to leave Social Work to persue her most desired dream job of all, be a full time mother to her children. As they aged, she frequently became the "adopted mother" to many of her children's friends, often lovingly referred to as "Mama J". She did later return to the "workforce" and enjoyed working for MTS where she made countless friends. It is insufficient to say that Margaret touched the lives of everyone she met. It was impossible to not be swept up by her quick wit, humour and charm. Her genuine love and compassion for all, just made those around all fall in love with her that much quicker and deeper. In her honour, the family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to a list of people too numerous to mention. But to some, we say thank-you for your service. To many, your kind and caring compassion for Margaret always helped to brighten her day and lift her spirits. And to the rest, your love and dedication to your profession gently passed Margaret from your tender arms to each other, till finally she was passed into the arms of the angels. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral and Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 5 at St. Gerard Parish, 45 Foster Street with Fr. Greg Mulligan officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to a charity of your choice. "Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there; I do not sleep..... Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there; I did not die." 204-586-8044

Mama J was the mom of one of my best friends and she is a very pateint and creative woman, she really loved her arts and crafts. She let us in her home with open arms and accepted all of us like family. Margy let our band practice in her basement for 10+ years as kids to adults and that played a role in my life of how I turned out today and I am forever grateful for that. Margaret me and Amy thank you for always letting us in your home and we will miss you and never forget you. Rest in paradise. - Posted by: Bien Marasigan (Friend ) on: Dec 05, 2014

Oh Mama…. </3 "Mama thank you for who I am Thank you for all the things I'm not Forgive me for the words unsaid For the times I forgot Mama remember all my life You showed me love, You sacrificed Think of those young and early days How I've changed along the way And I know you believed And I know you had dreams And I'm sorry it took all this time to see That I am where I am because of your truth I miss you, I miss you Mama forgive the times you cried Forgive me for not making right All of the storms I may have caused And I've been wrong Dry your eyes Mama I hope this makes you smile I hope you're happy with my life At peace with every choice I made How I've changed Along the way And I know you believed in all of my dreams And I owe it all to you, Mama" Love you Always <3 - Posted by: Harmony (Daughter) on: Dec 05, 2014

Words can't express how saddened I was to hear of Margaret's passing. Having worked with Margaret at MTS, her jokes, her wit and charm, her kindness and the sweet person that she was always made my day. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. To the family may the peace that comes from the memories of love shared comfort you all now and in the days ahead, rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Rosa Ferlaino (Friend) on: Dec 04, 2014

The first thing I recall is being in my later teenage years hanging out with Andy in their basement and the three teenage sisters hanging out a bit too, and all the laughter and joking. A warm memory of my youth. The second thing was running into Margaret at the U of M several years later. It was getting near school year end and I was stressing over upcoming 100% final exams, which I wasn't used to. I bumped into Margaret, who was then in social work. I asked her how she was doing and she replied "fine---except between now and year end I have 22 papers, projects or exams to do"----which made me laugh at my own situation. She was taking it all in stride. - Posted by: Don Lofendale (family friend) on: Dec 04, 2014
