ALICE NADON (ONUFRECIUK) June 12, 1929 December 1, 2014 With her loving family by her side, Alice Nadon passed away peacefully at home in Portage la Prairie at the age of 85 years. Alice was born on the family homestead Sprucedale Farm in Lennard, MB on June 12, 1929, one of 10 siblings raised by Nestor and Paulina Onufreiciuc. She was predeceased by her first husband Roy Wooley, second husband Wilf Nadon and special companion Stan Janiski; a son in infancy; brothers Martin Onufreciuk and Jimmy Onufrechuk; sisters Martha Liske and Marion Boucher; and son-in-law Doug Connery. Alice will be sadly missed by her children, daughter Aldene (Barry) Moroz, daughter Paulette Connery and son Bradley Nadon; grandchildren Justin Moroz, Jordan Moroz, Jarrett (Susie) Connery, Sheri (Dusty) Connery and great-grandchildren Arlo, Violet, Austin and Liam who all had a special place in her heart. She is also survived by sisters Violet (Paul) Flundra, Vicki Ulrich and Elaine Onufreiciuc; brothers Peter Onufrechuk and David (Phyllis) Onufrechuk; and numerous nieces and nephews. In keeping with Alice's wishes, cremation will take place. A time of remembrance and fellowship will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14 at the Portage Oddfellows Hall, 151 Royal Road N., Portage la Prairie.
