BARBARA ANNE PALUK (nee SWIRSKY) July 26, 1948 - December 2, 2014 Peacefully with her family by her side Barbara passed away at the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital. She leaves behind her husband Allan of 48 years. Her sons Douglas (Merle), Jeffrey (Crystal); her grandchildren which she loved so dearly Jasmine (Eddy), Jesse (Chantal), Angel. She also leaves to mourn her brothers Johnny, Gerald (Valerie), her sisters Christine (Daniel), Joanne, Beverly; her brother-in-law Ken (Judy); her sisters-in-law Carol Skyhar (Don Lavallee), Audrey (John), Valerie (Gerald) and numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary, also her father and mother-in- law Frank and Phyllis, her infant sister Geraldine and her brother-in-law Ken Albert. Barbara married Allan August 13, 1966, shortly after they started their family. Barb stayed home and raised her boys until they were school aged. She then entered the work force, she worked at a few various places Northern Goose, Burns and her last place of work was Faroex until she retired in 2013. Barb loved the outdoors from gardening, cutting grass, trimming trees or picking mushrooms but what she loved the most was spending time with her three grandchildren, family and friends around the table with the BBQ smoking and everyone having a few laughs. A celebration of life will be held on December 13, 2014 at MacKenzie Funeral Home in Teulon at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow at Komarno Hall. Pastor Dan Shmelinski will officiate. For those who wish to donate memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital Foundation. The family would like to thank Dr. Loudon for your compassion at this time, and a very special thank you to the nursing staff and health care aides at Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital.
