DIANA GRESKO (nee MOORE) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Diana Gresko, on Friday, November 28, 2014 at the age of 76. Diana was born and raised in Transcona, a community that she was proud of and where she lived for her entire life. Diana's greatest joy was her family and she loved and cared for them deeply. She also cherished the time at the cottage that she and Wally lovingly built from scratch and where they spent countless hours. She was always busy feeding the birds and animals, with the hummingbirds and chipmunks having a special place in her heart. Diana leaves to mourn: her husband Wally; son Dave (Debbie) and granddaughter Tara (Corey); daughter Colleen (Darin) and granddaughter Shannon with whom she shared an irreplaceable bond, and her beloved cat Molly. She also leaves to mourn: her sister Margaret Larkins; sisters-in-law Mary Moore and Vera Moore, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers Bob, Earl, David, and Russell; and her grandson Derek Kuz. Diana always had a story to tell or a joke to share. We will miss her generosity and wonderful sense of humour. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Transcona Memorial United Church, 209 Yale Ave. West. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses of 3NE of the Concordia Hospital for their care. Donations in Diana's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Diane was our next door neighbour at the lake. We couldn't ask for a kinder person. She would give us her great jam and pies which were the best we ever had. She will be greatly missed but remembered as a wonderful person whom we were very lucky to know. All the best to the whole family who we have been thinking about. - Posted by: Bruce and Jody (Friends) on: Dec 06, 2014

I will always remember the number of hours we spent on the phone when I resided in Winnipeg. Our laughter & our tears. We always would try & out do each other in the funniest birthday cards we sent each year ( which I will miss dearly this year) . Rest in peace Diana until we meet again. To the family I extend our deepest sympathy from Ken & I , for I know how much you will all miss her. Please take care Wally & you also Margaret. Ken & Arlene Turner, Aldergrove, B.C. - Posted by: D.
