I knew Lillian first as a student at MBBC, and later as a colleague while working for the Canadian Conference of MB Churches. She may not have loved computers at that time but was willing to tackle and take on new challenges. She was an excellent example of a single professional woman, leading a fulfilled and fulfilling life. She left an impact on me, and I am better for having known her. - Posted by: Lori Toews (Colleague from MBBC) on: Mar 06, 2015

Lillian has been a very faithful servant in our church, especially in the office. Her warm friendly presence at breakfasts, Oases and outings where she frequently provided rides for others was an encouragement and model for us. She will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Al and Jume Wieler (River East seniors) on: Dec 09, 2014

I first met Lillian through Christian Business and Professional Women's organization in the early 1970's and we remained good friends throughout the ensuing years. On my trips to Manitoba over the past three years, we always met for a good visit over lunch or dinner, including this past summer. On one occasion many years ago, Lillian and her sister Wilma traveled to the same Christian Conference center near Branson, Missouri where my mother and I were going and what fun we had doing things together and getting to know one another better. Lillian was a dear friend and I will miss her lovely smile and the good talks we enjoyed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and many friends. - Posted by: Sharon Tully (Friend ) on: Dec 08, 2014
