KIRIAKOS ANASTASIADIS On December 6, 2014 Kiriakos peacefully passed away at the age of 80. Kiriakos will eternally be in the hearts of his wife Sofia, children Dimitris, Rebeka and Marina and his granddaughter Elleni (John-Richard), as well as his remaining siblings Leo (Sophia) and Vicky. Kiriakos immigrated to Canada from Greece in 1963 and saw much of Canada through his work as a welder and pipefitter. He retired as a shoemaker and proved himself as a true family man until his last days. His stories were rich and his heart was pure - he found joy in hunting, fishing, wildlife and had a passion for soccer. He will be remembered for his kind eyes, patience and devotion - he is loved and will never be forgotten. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, December 10 at 7:00 p.m., at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2255 Grant Ave., followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on Thursday, December 11 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery. Donations may be made to the St. Boniface General Hospital Pacemaker Clinic or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, in lieu of flowers.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • You will be missed, your smile lit up the salon, you would tell us how much you wanted cut and then you would say (you know what your doing I'm in your hand) lol we will miss you. My condolences to the family. - Posted by: Georgia Skarpias (Hair Stylist ) on: Dec 10, 2014

  • On behalf of the Constan Family, I express our deepest sympathy for your loss and offer our prayers. Theo was a dynamic person whose strong devotion to family was only matched by his hospitality and kindness. His home was always warmly open to friends and family. Those summer outings to Gimli will always be fondly remembered. Eonia Eimnemi (May his memory be eternal). - Posted by: William Constan (family) on: Dec 10, 2014

  • As the years have come and gone they still seem so few that we have spent together. I have tried and tested your patience only to discover that you provided unconditional love. I am thankful that you were my father and more importantly a wonderful grandfather. You are now resting and at peace and finally home with our Lord. Our hearts will ache and a void will be there as nothing can replace the roles you had in this world as a husband, our dad, and grandfather. We love you always and forever - Posted by: Marina (daughter) on: Dec 10, 2014

  • We wish the family our sincere condolences and our prayers are with you. - Posted by: Dimitrios and Helen Panagakos (friend) on: Dec 09, 2014
