ARNOLD (nee COLEMAN) Peacefully, after a long battle with failing health, Dagmar passed away early Sunday morning December 7, 2014, in the company of her family. Dagmar was predeceased by her husband Doug in 1984 and her parents Charles and Mathilda Coleman. She will be remembered by her children: Larry (Arlene), Brian, Douglas, Kevin and Patti (Thane); grandchildren Breanna (Troy) and Michelle; John (Jaclyn); Tiffanny (Matt), Charlene (Justin) and Rebecca, stepgrandson Andrew Allen; six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Dagmar was born in Winnipeg on March 2, 1931. After her marriage to Doug she lived in the St. James area where she dedicated herself to her family. She often spoke of her trips to Sweden where she connected with her extended family and to Switzerland where she visited other relatives. In later life as a resident of Sturgeon Creek II, she received several awards for her volunteer work to aid the other residents. Pallbearers are Larry Arnold, Brian Arnold, John Arnold, Bruce Frost, Trevor Frost and Justin Graham. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Arnold and Thane Allen. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Grace Hospital for their compassionate care for Dagmar. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Dagmar's name to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2B7 or to a charity of your choice. www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715
