DAVID FENNING It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of David Fenning, aged 88 years, of Moosehorn, MB on December 10, 2014 at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern, MB. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer and her children Kim (Theo) great-grandchildren Larissa (Jacob) and Nathon, Morley (Crystal) great-grandson Braylon; daughter Heather (Ron) and their daughter Hilary; son Bradley (Kim) and their children Shannon (Craig) great-granddaughter Chloe, and Lisa (Darryn). David is also survived by his sisters Mae, Evelyn and Violet, brothers Harvey (Margaret) and Brian (Lorraine), along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn, son Blair, his parents Eric and Lena, son-in-law Manny, his four sisters and four brothers. David was born on December 26, 1925 in the Birch Bay area. He met and married Evelyn on October 7, 1949. David worked for both the Spear Hill and Faulkner lime plants for over 43 years and retired in 1990. He always had a zest for life and was constantly on the move whether it was fishing, cutting wood, snow blowing, gardening, tinkering on something or enjoying being with family at the lake. David truly loved his family with all his heart. He was a very hardworking and generous man who would always think of others before himself. David always had a story to tell, a comment to make and a laugh to share. David will be deeply missed and in our hearts forever. Friends and relatives may pay their respects between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Arnason Funeral Home in Ashern. A private family service will be held at the Arnason Funeral Home in Ashern with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Interment to follow in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Moosehorn, MB. Pallbearers will be Morley Truba, Theo Tyson, Doug Kiesman, Craig Kosolowski, Darryn Boyko and Ron Smith. Our family would like to thank Dr. Emadi, nurses and staff of the Lakeshore General Hospital, the home care workers, Pastor Bill Watson, John and Karen Gray and staff of Arnason Funeral Home.
