GREGORY W. COGHILL
Born: Apr 04, 1952
Date of Passing: Nov 20, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGREGORY W. COGHILL April 4, 1952 - November 20, 2014 It is with broken hearts that on November 20, 2014 at Mountain Vista Hospital in Mesa, Arizona we announce the passing of Gregory W. Coghill. Greg will be deeply missed by his wife Beverly, of 34 years, his son Michael, daughter-in-law Heather and grandchildren Parker, Kate and Emma. Greg worked for the Bank of Montreal for over 25 years, then took his brilliant knowledge for banking and went to work for Sunova Credit Union in Selkirk, Manitoba until he retired in 2007. After two years of trying to perfect his golf game and not succeeding Greg took his passion of the banking industry and went back to work at Sunova to teach. Greg's passions were first and foremost his family, playing golf and driving his classic cars on nice days. Greg always had a generous heart and would help friends and family when he could, even strangers during hard times. You will always be missed but never forgotten. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that gifts be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A celebration of Greg's life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 16 at Niakwa Country Club, 620 Niakwa Rd.

I still cannot believe this is real. There are no words to express my shock and sadness of Greg's passing. I will always remember Greg as one of my biggest cheerleaders and supporters and vice versa. Greg was a caring and supportive individual that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. I will always remember Greg for his encouragement. Even when I questioned myself, he never had any doubts in what I could acheive. Greg will always be held in my highest regard! Greg, I miss you already. I will always remember you. Until next time...... - Posted by: Pam Zacharias (Collague/Friend) on: Dec 15, 2014

Bev and Michael and family, Mary and I are still shocked and saddened over your loss. Greg was one of a kind and will be missed. I went back something like 35 years with "Curly" and we shared a lot of great times together whether with the Bank or Sunova or talking about family, cars and yes, the occasional golf round (surprise). Thinking about you at this difficult time. - Posted by: Kerry Hendry (Friend/Collague) on: Dec 15, 2014

It has been nearly 40 years since I last saw Greg. He was part of a close knit group of friends at the time. One of Greg's contributions to the group was the fact that he looked very mature with his busy mustache and could purchase the groups "spirits" while underage!! It was pleasant to read what Greg did with his life and I truly express my sympathy for your loss. - Posted by: Ron Fish (High School friend) on: Dec 13, 2014

We are thinking of Bev, Mike and his family as well as close friends at this time. It is with shock and sorrow that has robbed us of Greg's continued friendship here in Winnipeg and Phoenix.
