Katherine was born in Kirkness, Manitoba on January 30, 1920, and married John Czyrak on July 22, 1944. Katherine was a devoted wife helping her family to build a successful farm along with their son Joseph and she particularly enjoyed her garden. Katherine had a great love for the Bible and it's prophecies and looked forward to the soon coming Kingdom of Christ with the promise of the resurrection and Kingdom blessings. She often sang "till I reach the golden strand, just beyond the river." In the last years Katherine was faithfully supported and provided for by her son Joseph and her daughters, and by Rita, Jean from her congregation, and Kathy and many devoted caregivers. The family would like to thank all of them individually for their love and care for Katherine. The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 13 at the Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, Manitoba with viewing at 10:00 a.m. and the service with David Hrechuk officiating at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Ashfield Cemetery. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Aunty Kay was my embodiment of endurance, Faith in God and love and tolerance of human kind. I regret that i never told her. Her love and devotion to her children can only be seen in how they were devoted and cared for her. I am humbled and honored to see them follow in their mother’s example. Aunty Kay was a kind and warm person who we should aspire to. - Posted by: kim gowryluk (nephew) on: Dec 12, 2014
