WILLIAM DANIEL DAVID PAWLYK (BILL, BILLY, CARGO BILL) Beats Goes ON Hey, Hey, let me tell you something, William Daniel (Cargo Bill) David Pawlyk has died. Predeceased by his parents and his ever loving brother Ted. He is survived by his only daughter Jennipher Alexander and grandson Hunter Charles Alexander, his nephew Michael Pawlyk and a smattering of other family scattered around this big old planet. No one will ever know exactly when he passed away but good lord his family is bummed out about it. He was a conspiracy theorist, a bicycle enthusiast, a coffee lover and an excellent neighbour. Working with Air Canada since Methuselah was a kid he made a hell of a co-worker. He was a good guy, he liked to argue and I miss him. Keep your stick on the ice. If you would like to go and feed the birds at the West Kildonan duck pond for him we would all be very appreciative. Small memorial service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, December 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place In memory of Bill Pawlyk donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

  • I met Bill 8 years ago when I became his neighbor across the lane. Bill was a comical man who made me smile each and every time I saw him. Bill was one of a kind, very caring, helpful and kind. I will miss hearing him yell out to our neighbor and good friend Russ. My thoughts and prayers go out to his daughter, grandson and other family and close friends. I will miss our little chats and stories. - Posted by: Tracy (neighbor) on: Jan 14, 2015

  • Bill was a quite a "free Spirit". He would bike or drive over to the Henderson McDonalds and have coffee with us each Sunday. If he had a muffin, he would share it with me. He had quite a sense of humour and boy, could he tell a story. I had hoped to get in a round of golf with him. Last time I saw him, he was looking forward to finally getting his teeth fixed and coming down to Phoenix in February. I am sorry to see him go as he lived each day. I will miss his company. We will miss you, too soon to go. - Posted by: McDonalds Coffee Buddy (Knew him for the past 6 years) on: Dec 14, 2014

  • I will always remember being a kid and you taking us out for ice cream in which ever car tickled your fancy that week and will truly miss sitting in the trailer on any given summer night that we saw each other talking crap, telling life stories, laughing at our respected family and just genuinely enjoying each others company. You were quite the character and will be remembered fondly. - Posted by: Michael (nephew) on: Dec 13, 2014
