Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Glenn was a great man, kind, loving, thoughtfully. But most of all a great friend to my dad, who misses him dearly. They talked for hours, on the phone, on Skype and in person. To this day dad still says how much he misses Glenn. - Posted by: Tammy Walker () on: Feb 17, 2016

  • Janice, My deepest condolences to you and your family. I have fond memories of baby sitting at the house on Havelock! I know my parents respected Glen and thought of you both as friends and great neighbors. - Posted by: Alison Hatton (friend) on: Dec 16, 2014

  • My deepest condolences to you Janice. - Posted by: Megan Gauthier (friend) on: Dec 13, 2014

  • I worked with Glen for a few years. He was a friend both before and after we worked together. He was a great friend of mine. We talked on the air, or the telephone for hours. VE4DB, you will be missed - Posted by: Dick Maguire VE4HK (Friend) on: Dec 13, 2014

  • My dad was a good man. He had a sense of humour most would think was almost edgy or border line lol.... I thought it was hilarious! :) My dad being a ham operator by the call sign VE4 DB ( aka dangeling banana) lol hence the sense of humour. He was active in the ham community for many years going to ham festivals and working with the organizers of the manitoba marathon as a radio operator. So many times I recall sitting with my dad with him in his "ham room" while he talked with people all over the world. He had made so many friends over the years and it was amazing to a kid like my self that it was posable to do that so many years ago with out Internet!. Sadly my dad has no siblings but he has my mom, sister and my self and we loved each other very much. I love you dad and will miss you dearly. - Posted by: Colin Dodd (Son ) on: Dec 13, 2014
