Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • Tanta Ad was always so full of life and energy. She was always working and helping others tirelessly. My Mom was always so grateful for all she did for her, and for visiting her in either the hospital or the nursing home. Tanta Ad was always the light that shone on a dull day, so full of laughter and smiles. Her door was always open for visitors and there was always home- made cookies or food to partake of along with great conversation. I remember we ,as a family, would go often to visit and have such a great time playing in the field, the cows, and having so much fun with our cousins. We will miss Tanta Ad, but know that she is in a much better place. One day we will all be together again visiting and laughing and rejoicing! God bless and comfort you all, Margaret & Darwin Knutson - Posted by: Margaret Knutson (Stoopendaal) (Niece) on: Dec 28, 2014

  • We are so sorry to read that your mum has passed away. I have great memories of her. She was a great lady. When you dropped by you could find her baking some nice things in the kitchen. Nothing was too much for her. I had my bridal shower in the basement of your family house. Before I went back to Holland I stayed at your place for some days with Chuck and the baby. Always so helpful. It was really great to know her. Heel veel sterkte . Ann, Chuck and also from my mum - Posted by: Ann Ford-van der Zwan (friend) on: Dec 28, 2014
