Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT REUTCKE With sorrow I announce the passing of my brother Bob, age 68, on December 8, 2014, at his home. We were with him and comforted him with love and prayers. Bob's disability occurred during a difficult birth on February 12, 1946. Bob was a gentle soul, sensitive, intelligent, generous and a loyal friend. His passion was music and it brought much joy to him. His faith in God strengthened and sustained him throughout his life. "Blessed are the people who persevere under trial because they have stood the test, they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him." James 1:12. Bob was predeceased by his beloved mother Olive (1992), Sam Reutcke (1995), our dear friend Simon Adelmann (2010). Left to cherish his memory is his sister Elizabeth and brother-in-law Ron. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street. Please meet at Glen Eden Funeral Home at 1:45 p.m. A heartfelt thank you to those who helped Bob in the last years of his life. Doctor and humanitarian, Dr. Mike Dillon, nurse Joan and staff at KLINIC, Janis Chrest, Dvora Braunstein, Proctor Greg, Marlene Rempel and homecare worker Ana, Emile, Dave and Norma at the Bluebird, and to my husband, Ron, for his kindness, patience and friendship to Bob. Blessings to all of you. Bob used to say that he didn't fear death, because in Heaven he would be tall and strong, and he wouldn't be sick.
