NORMA MARIE DUNKLEY May 7, 1928 - December 10, 2014 It is with great sadness that family announces the sudden passing of our beloved mother and grandmother (Nana) Norma Marie Dunkley on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Norma was born May 7, 1928 at home on the farm in MacNutt, Saskatchewan. Norma later moved to Winnipeg where she met and later married Roy Dunkley on December 20, 1952. Norma worked for Reliance Products until her retirement in May 1988. Norma loved to listen to country music and Elvis Presley gospel songs. Norma was famous with children in our family for her oatmeal cookies. Norma's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She loved to read to her grandchildren. Norma loved the Lord and the gifts of family that He bestowed upon her. Norma was predeceased by her husband Roy Dunkley, her parents Elizabeth and Adam Kitsch, her brother Mervin Kitsch, her two sisters Erna Giest and Bertha Haberman, and her grandson Guy Kitsch. Norma leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her life, her five children: Noreen Kitsch, Roy Dunkley (Barb), Marilyn Dunkley (Harry), Janette Dunkley (Mike), Karen Dunkley (Hassan), her grandchildren Sherry (Carl), Chelsea (Brandon), Tanya (Byron), Roxanne (Nick), Kristian, Shea, Kaylee (Braden), Danielle, Nicholas, Joshua, and her great-grandchildren: Kiara, Ethan, Kadin, Dominique, Jaden, Zena, Mathias, and Alison, her sister Alice Cheetham, her brothers Earl Kitsch and Calvin Kitsch, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Norma resided in Fred Douglas Lodge for the last three years of her life. The family would like to thank the staff at the Fred Douglas Lodge for their tender care and support of Norma. Prayers will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.
