Iris is like a mother to me and my husband aside from being my employer. She taught us a lot about life, to be health conscious, never giving up and to be courageous. In my four years with her, I've known her as a generous, health conscious and loving person who cares for others. She loved animals most specially her cat Boots that even in her last breath she made sure that her cat is okay. Boots is well taken care of now. It's hard to believe that she's gone, but all her memories will be kept in our hearts. May you rest in Peace. Our Condolences to the Family. - Posted by: Nancy (Caregiver) on: Dec 17, 2014

My first memory of the Gusberti family was through little league baseball where Garth played baseball and his dad coached. Our dads spent hours establishing what is now Garden City Community Centre, along with our mothers' support. I later went to high school with Garth. I am sorry to hear of your loss. - Posted by: Judy Kosloski (nee Welsh) () on: Dec 16, 2014

Arriving in Winnipeg at the age of seventeen, not having any family or friends, I applied for a job at the Gusberti household...what a wonderful experience that was for me..little did I know the care and love I would receive from this family...Iris taught me many things especially about never giving up..and with all her challenges she never did give up..she always amazed me as to what she could do...and Garth and Grant were just the sweetest little fellas to look after...I was always included in every family celebration there was..I had a family here... Several years later I was so pleased to meet Garth at a police function that my husband and I attended...little did I know that little blond rascal would end up being a police officer..and what a fine young man he turned out to be Not having any family..Carlo was so kind and walked me down the isle on my marriage day..how proud I was I received many blessing from this wonderful woman and her family and will always remember them. Thankful Angie - Posted by: Angie Stojke (live in aide) on: Dec 13, 2014
