Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL SKOLESKI It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our father Mike Skoleski at the age of 100 years at the Holy Family Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Left to cherish his memory is his son James and daughter-in-law Orisia, daughter Helen (Ted) Bogucki of Fraserwood, Manitoba, grand daughter Cathy (Chris) Woodland and their children Nicole, Shayla and Alyssa, Alla (Mike) Brisky grandson Leonard Bogucki of Calgary, Alberta. Michael was predeceased by his wife Ann in January 1990, by his parents, brothers, Steve and Bill, sister Mary, sisters-in-law Josephine Skoleski, Mary Skoleski, Mary Marchand, Rose Masnyk and nephew Eugene Skoleski. Dad was a long time resident of St. Norbert and he worked for Canada Cement LaFarge Company. We would also like to thank Dr. Andrea and Terry Babick for their care and compassion in looking after my father. Also to the Sister Servants Mary Immaculate; Sisters Darlene, Charlene, Rutha and Oryssia for their prayers and support, and to Marika Kowch in Pastoral Care. Also to the doctors, nurses and care workers of the 5th floor 5A a big thank you for looking after my father is greatly appreciated. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Fr. Michael Krochak officiating. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church, 590 Alverstone Street with Rev. Fr. Michael Krochak celebrant. Interment will take place at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Howden, Manitoba (St. Norbert- Red River Drive). Mike Knysh Funeral Director in care of arrangements.
