LOUISE DESMARAIS (nee LALEUNE) Our beloved Aunty Louise left us on December 4, 2014 at the age of 93 years. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sister, Shirley; her cat and "best friend", Tommy; and many grateful nieces and nephews. Aunty was a second mother to us, the most thoughtful, caring and generous aunt we could ever hope for. She will always be with us in spirit. A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Cathedral Manor, her home for the past year. In keeping with Aunty's wishes, no formal service will be held. "We dropped a tear in the ocean.   • I had the pleasure of meeting aunty Louise during her visits to the Sawchuk household and enjoyed her friendly, happy disposition. She was always kind and engaged during our encounters; understandably a favourite aunt of her loving nieces. I know this is a time of heavy hearts and express my condolences to her sister Shirley, nieces: Carol, Lynne, and Diana, and of course to Peter and all who knew her. I believe her good hearted spirit carries on in the lives of her (sister's) family, a tribute to her legacy and the values she shared with her loved ones.   • Aunty we miss you. Well in the end you got the "nice room" at the hospital! You can rest peacefully as Tommy is with me...very demanding!!! He is happy and constantly purring...I think it is I who will have to adjust, not Tommy! I wish we could have spent the Christmas lunch together at the Manor one more time!
