LILLIAN VICTORIA DAVIS It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our dear aunt Lillian Victoria Davis on Monday, December 15, 2014. She was predeceased by her beloved parents William and Rose Davis and her two sisters Margaret and Wilhelmina Davis. Lillian's working days were spent at Eaton's mail order until it closed and then at Deer Lodge Hospital. She enjoyed traveling to Hawaii with her sister Margaret. She loved driving her Honda vehicles taking day trips to the Peace Gardens, the Whiteshell or spending the day at the Assiniboine Park. She loved the outdoors, the animals and birds. She loved her love bird Kelly and when she had to move to the nursing home she missed him terribly and asked about him every time you visited. She leaves to mourn her untimely passing her sister Teresa Williams, nieces Marilyn (Dick) Strutz, Joyce (Mickey) James and families, nephew Len (Karen) Williams and family, seven great-nieces and great-nephews Bob (Lisa), Wendy (Ryan), Cheryl (James), Rob, Darryl, Jennifer (Clayton) and Corey, nine great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews Emily, Evan, Erika, Elizabeth, Brett, Kyle, Mia, Bryce and Emersyn. She also leaves behind many cousins here and in California. Special thanks to the 3rd floor staff of Oakview Place Nursing Home for their loving compassionate care and friendship. She was very happy there. A Prayer Service will be said on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 271 Hampton Street. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
