I am saddened to hear of the passing of my Uncle Egen. He used to visit my family in Winnipeg when he was in the Army. I was a very little girl at that time. I always enjoyed his visits. He was very kind to me and liked to take me out for ice cream. I thought he was very smart because he knew so many things and could tell so many stories. i have wonderful memories of my dear uncle. - Posted by: Elaine Douglas (niece) on: Dec 18, 2014
