Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRINA POGREBICKY It is with great sadness that the family of Irina Pogrebicky announce her passing while at Seven Oaks Hospital, on December 16, 2014. She was born September 24, 1940, in Kiev, during the Second World War and, thanks to the efforts of her mother, survived Nazi occupation. She is predeceased by her parents Maria and Alexander Einis. She will be greatly missed by her devoted husband David, her daughter Natasha and son-in-law Sam (Kravtsov), her brother Sasha Einis, sister-in-law Tomilla Gorodetskaya, nieces Marina Tagger and Regina Segal, nephews Stanley Einis and Josh Lyuber, cousins in Israel and in the United States, and many of her friends. She studied library science in Kiev and was a great research resource for many in the Arts and Science community. She loved the Arts, theatre and to sing with her husband at parties and social functions. She worked in Canada in sales, then as an esthetician and then opened her own skin care salon. She loved to travel, enjoyed new food and adventures. She will be remembered for her smile, kindness and willingness to help others. The funeral will take place with a service at Chesed Shel Emes Funeral Chapel, 1023 Main Street, on Friday, December 19, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Shaarey Zedek Cemetary.
