Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Terry Wiebe This message is for you, I met your Mom through curling in Altona, I enjoyed her friendship, and also when she had her flower shop. My condolences to you and your family, I also thank you for everything you have done for the Braun family in the past, I only saw the notice today. - Posted by: Sue Braun (Friend) on: Jan 15, 2015

  • Lil and her family were lifelong friends with my family and I. They visited us at Falcon Lake when I was a kid and later I worked for her at the Flower Shop for a year. We became good friends and enjoyed many cups of tea at her table, we birdwatched from her living room window, and later in the field and at Delta Marsh with our third partner Mary Kruger. We made a great team searching for Warblers or admiring a Meadow Lark on a fence post. Our shared love for nature made us all little girls seeing a robin for the first time. I am grateful for the friendship Lil always extended to me, she always made me feel so loved. Rest in peace dear Lil, your memory is with me always. Love Susan - Posted by: Susan Loeppky (friend and birdwatching pal ) on: Jan 01, 2015
