OTTO VICTOR HLADIK March 8, 1944 - December 10, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Otto on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Otto will be forever loved and missed by his wife Gale, stepson Morgan Rumley, Aunt Lydia, brother-in-law Wayne (Vera), sister-in-law Diane (Randy), sister-in-law Teresa, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, mother-in-law Elsie, brother-in-law Bill and nephew Kevin. Otto loved cooking, singing, chess, cards and the family pets. We enjoyed many walks at Little Mountain Park with Luke and Kanu. We will miss Otto singing "Day O" and "Wooden Heart" at family gatherings. Otto's love for his family was immeasurable. Sincere thanks to the paramedics, Health Sciences Centre Emergency Room doctors and nurses. Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held at St. Luke's Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Lynne Hutchinson officiating. Donations of prayers are appreciated. 204-782-3541 www.kilcollinscremationservice.com

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Otto was a sweet loving man with a kind heart and a generous spirit. I have many fond memories tucked in my heart of the many times we played our favorite card game "Pennies" till the early morning hours. He will be dearly missed and his memory will be cherished. My loving prayers go to all of you at this time, Love Margaret. - Posted by: margaret macpherson (friend) on: Dec 21, 2014
