ANNE MORGAN 1927 - 2014 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mom, grandma and great-grandma who passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, December 19, 2014. Mom is survived by her devoted family of five children Brenda, Ron (Val), Ray (Deb), Rod, and Holly (Larry), her loving grandchildren Braden (Amy), Brenlee, Rhonda (Derrick), Kevin (Krystal), Kyle, Shane, Breanne, Jeff, Greg, Colleen, Tyler and Troy, her precious great-grandchildren Cullen and Brody. Mom was predeceased by her husband George of 47 years of marriage. As a young child, mom immigrated to Canada from Poland with her family, settling in Minitonas, MB. She then moved to Winnipeg to start her career as a nanny and eventually met George. They married in 1949 and began raising their five children. Mom was a full-time homemaker who enjoyed spending time cooking, baking, swing, and meeting all her children's needs. Eventually her grandchildren and great-grandchildren became the pride and joy in her life. Mom was a very caring, sociable person with a great sense of humour. Everyone who knew Anne was left with fond and lasting memories. We would like to sincerely thank the staff at Fred Douglas Heritage House and the Health Sciences Centre for all their care. Funeral arrangements have been made at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Viewing will be at 9:30 a.m., and services will be at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
