Condolences & Memories (19 entries)

  • I was shocked and saddened to hear of Sam's passing. He was the first person to welcome us into the neighborhood when we moved here, and was always there to greet us with a friendly wave as we walked our dog down the road. Our deepest sympathies go out to all of Sam's family and close friends. He was a very nice man. He is a fixture of the neighborhood that will be noticeably missed. - Posted by: Lesley Clarke (neighbor) on: Jan 24, 2015

  • So very sad, especially at this time of year. Our hearts go out to Sam's family, he was much too young. Sam was one of those guys you always wanted to work with, friendly, cheerful and upbeat, and a true professional. We will miss you. • So sad to hear of Sam leaving us and heartfelt sympathies to Glenda and Family. Have known Sam since he was 12 years old at a little country church that we attended. Worked with Sam at AirCan for many years. Sam loved a good practical joke, quiet, thoughtful before he spoke, kind and considerate to others. He dealt with nagging health issues which he quietly tolerated without complaint. Highly respected and always willing to lend a hand if he could. - Posted by: Barry Lazaruk (Co-Worker,Friend) on: Dec 27, 2014

  • Sam was one of those guys you always remember as a teacher, he was quiet (at times), behind the schemes happening in the classroom (most of the time); but a deep thinker when he made a comment or asked a question. I also had the opportunity to teach his kids. Our deepest sympathies Glenda and family, may your memories be full of the great times you shared as a family. - Posted by: Don & Bonny Hutniak (Sam's teacher @ HTS as well as his kids.) on: Dec 23, 2014
