Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICOLE MARIE DELAQUIS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nicole, at the age of 61, at Seven Oaks Hospital on December 20, 2014 surrounded by family and the L'Arche family. Nicole was born to Marcel and Florina Delaquis. She was predeceased by her father Marcel, mother Florina (Marchand), and her sister Lucette. Nicole is survived by her three brothers Ron (Janine), Luc (Mary) and Laurent (Delores), as well as her amazing L'Arche family. She will also be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Nicole loved family and friends and she shared a smile with everyone she met, she brought happiness and enjoyment to all who knew her. For 37 years L'Arche was her home where she was surrounded with love and support and where she made many wonderful memories. Nicole enjoyed life, celebrating with families and friends was what made her happiest, and we are all blessed that we were able to be part of her life. She loved holiday gatherings, her birthday and going out for coffee. Her L'Arche family brought her great joy and she was well cared for and loved by each and everyone who worked and lived there. The family would like to especially thank Seven Oaks Dialysis Unit and to the staff at Seven Oaks who provided care and compassion to Nicole. The funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de L'Assomption Church, 609 Leola St., Transcona at 11:00 a.m. on December 24, 2014. There will be the recitation of the rosary and viewing at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Eulogy. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery in Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to L'Arche Winnipeg. 204-586-8044

Nicole Marie! She taught me so much about life & even who Momma Cass was ;-) She always had great stories to share about her life with her brothers. She always kept me up to date on what everyone was doing especially her nieces ;-). Thank you for the memories Nicole! Ron, Luc, Laurent and families, My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you on the loss of your sister, sister-in-law, and aunt Nicole. I will always remember our visits to your parents' home in Notre Dame and Nicole's great enjoyment and fun she had at family gatherings.
