My dear Joanne, Lisa, Shanna and Alexandria; It was with great sadness that I felt deep in my heart when I heard that your wonderful father and husband had passed away. Bill was truly a very fine person, he willingly and patiently would give of his time to help others including our family. To have you all as our neighbour in Edmonton for so many years left my family with very special memories. Bill was a caring and gentle soul. I also remember his talent at the game of hockey. He played it like a gentleman, but always with enthusiasm and a great zest for the game. His love for Alexandria was immeasurable, and she can take comfort in knowing she is blessed to have had such a wonderful Grandpa that has left her with so many great memories. He was so proud of all of you, and even though his journey on earth is over his arms will always be around you, and he will continue to guide you gently. RIP Bill and thanks for the memories. Jo-Anne, Shanna, Lisa and Alexandria. My deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to you and the family at this very sad time. Jo-Anne, Ken and I had the pleasure and privilege to have known both you and Bill for many years as friends and neighbours on Admirals Drive, Silver Harbour. I shall remember our times together, especially at our home for our annual Christmas Open House, where there was always smiles, lots of conversation and laughter. Bill always had a smile on his face, was helpful and enjoyed his times with the folks in Silver Harbour. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Lorraine Clapham (Friend & Neighbour) on: Dec 30, 2014
