Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I am so sorry to hear of Dot's ( Dorothy's) passing. She was always a going concern and full of energy. She called me last year when she hadn't heard from my mother Jean and wondered if she was well. Always asking about my husband and family and telling me about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very proud mother. Years ago, we were in Winnipeg for a business meeting and we gave her a call. The next day she was at the hotel picking us up for a quick tour of Winnipeg and visit at Robert's house. Nothing was too much trouble in spite of the frigid January weather and the 3 foot deep snow banks. Please accept our condolences. - Posted by: Susan Wardle (daughter of Jean White and friend of Dorothy) on: Jan 01, 2015

  • I was so sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. I had received a Christmas Card from her just recently and she asked me to give her a call. Unfortunately, I was too late in calling and I couldn't get through on her number. We had many good times together when they visited us in Dorchester years ago. She was always quick with a story and a laugh and I will miss her. - Posted by: Jean White (Friend from London Ontario) on: Jan 01, 2015
