ETHEL DARLENE STRANGER (DAR) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear sister (Dar) on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Health Sciences Centre. Predeceased by father Roderick Stranger, sisters Lorraine and Shirley, grandparents Soloman and Annabella Stranger, George and Ethel Stevenson and numerous relatives. Left to mourn her memory mother Margaret Stranger, brothers Rick and Rod (Beatrice) Stranger and sisters Kim Stranger, Carol McCorrister (Hal) and Sharon Champagne (Wayne). Viewing will be held in Winnipeg at Thunderbird House on Sunday, December 28 at 5:00 p.m. Funeral services to be held at St. Matthews Anglican Church Peguis First Nation, Manitoba on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.

  • I miss you Stranger. You had your share of hell on this Earth...We all do in some ways. But I remember a Winter when I was snowed in deep at my place and had no one around to clean the snow so I could at least get out of my house, You my Dear, walked from your place to my place with your shovel and shoveled a path for me. The streets were closed due to the snow, so you walked here. I Love You Dar - I always have. We had a few differences, but we had good times too. You are always in my heart. Rest in Peace my friend.
