Shocked to hear of Ron's passing. Lots of good memories of our great neighbor and the compassion he had for his landlords Ken and Aida. Many nights of visiting, BBQing, and some music on the back deck. So sad for Stetson and Lacey who have lost their loving Dad. - Posted by: Bonnie and Wayne Munro (Neighbors and friends) on: Mar 25, 2015

I met Ron over 20 years ago and shared a love of horses. He missed riding while living in Brooks and I was happy to introduce him to a little green broke gelding I'd had and was working with getting enough miles on to consider "broke". He was an odd little horse and not too friendly but I had a hunch about Ron so invited him to take the horse when he had time and ride where he pleased. It wasn't unusual for the next few months to get home to find Ron's truck in the driveway and my horse gone. It was a match made in heaven and we were both sad when he was transferred. Ron was like one of my sons and i still think of him often. My heart breaks for those he left behind. Deepest condolences. - Posted by: Pamela Steele (friend) on: Dec 30, 2014
