RUTH NEGREY Peacefully, at the Gimli Hospital, on December 20, 2014 Ruth Negrey of Matlock, MB passed away at the age of 83. Ruth received her education at St. John's High School, Ukrainian Bible Institute and Winnipeg Bible Institute. She taught piano and played the piano and organ at many churches as they moved from one location to another. Ruth had many interests and shared her talents with others. She excelled in sewing, folk art, oil painting and quilting. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Stephen and Mary (Scraba) Skibitzky, sister Elsie Engel, and daughter Michele May Watson. She is survived by her daughter Angela, grandson Dallas (Holly), daughter Kristine (Dave), granddaughters Shea and Autumn, brother Daniel Skibitzky, and husband Mike. In heaven there is no cancer. Cremation has taken place, summer memorial to follow.

So sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. She was such a special person in our family's life.(Peter and Mary Bellows) She was so talented and so caring. She meant a lot to mom and dad and Ruth and Mike's visits were always a bright spot. Hold on to the many memories you have of the good times together, these will help you get through the lonely times. Blessings on each of her family. So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She is now in the presence of our Lord....no more suffering on this earth. Glorene and I spent some good time last April catching up on life. Angela and Kris - I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mom - I am glad I had a chance to visit with her this October when I was out west - she was a talented lady and always kept busy with so many things - she was always willing to help even when she was not feeling well - she was very proud of her daughters and grandchildren - I know you will miss her - I spoke with your Dad and and he will also miss her. - Posted by: Kathy (Cousin) on: Dec 30, 2014
