OLGA FABRIS It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Olga Fabris announce the conclusion of her life on December 27, 2014. Born Olga Dudar, April 11, 1923 in Ethlebert, MB, she moved to Winnipeg on her own at the age of 18. There she met Marsilio Fabris, the love of her life. They were married in 1947 and, although he passed on from this life in 1990, he was never far from her heart or her mind over the ensuing 24 years. She dedicated her life to loving her family and many friends and with the help of her strong Catholic faith she endured all of life's trials with grace. The many happy memories of her family interactions will help sustain her children, Leonard (Marilyn), Robert and Eleanor (Douglas); her grandchildren, Breanne (Peter), Lauren, Brent (Amanda), Vicci, Jason (Jessi), Ashley (Wesley), and Dana (Casey); and her great-grandchildren, Evan, Avery, Olivia, Nolan and Jack. She will forever be remembered as "Baba" by those she leaves behind. Special thanks to Dr. Sam Smal, staff at Park Manor Personal Care, home care staff, and to Ann and Glen for their compassionate care and support for our mother. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Mary, Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Drive. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn. In lieu of flowers, donations in Olga's memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation. Cropo Funeral Chapel 204-586-8044

My memory of Olga is that she was a very hospitable lady. Olga would see me / any friend walking down the street and she would invite us in for a cup of tea/coffee. Olga loved her children dearly and would address them as My Leonard, My Robert or My Eleanor. Rest in peace dear Olga! - Posted by: (Sister Marie Louise) Sister Jacky Bartush (friend) on: Feb 02, 2015
